[Improvement Results] Optimization of the setting conditions for drying equipment

Improvements were made to change the settings while checking the condition of the raw materials, as the settings were fixed.

We would like to introduce the results of optimizing the setting conditions for the drying equipment at the chemical plant, which led to improved productivity. In this plant, the drying speed of the raw materials had decreased, resulting in daily overtime. This work was carried out in two shifts, with two employees coming in to handle different tasks. However, when overtime occurred during the late shift, it was necessary to have two people present according to regulations, leading to unnecessary overtime for one employee. After the improvements, the drying speed increased, and overtime was eliminated, resulting in no late-night overtime for the two employees.
